The Annex Westok steel beams are being installed over the garage carparking area. This specialist design was chosen to achieve large uninterrupted spans free from any columns for ease of vehicle parking and manoeuvring in the basement. The Westok beams are supported off steel columns and specialist steel plates cast into the concrete ring beam forming part of the basement RC structure.
