This project involved the design of a new build contemporary style house overlooking the fields in Shenfield. The clients brief was to replace an existing bungalow with a design with a difference. The brief is for a 5 bedroom house with large open plan living spaces and detached garage.
The original scheme consisted of a flat roof design, and through design development and planning constraints, the roof design was amended to suit a contemporary pitched roof detail. SDA were able to liaise with Brentwood Borough council to gain planning permission for the site. The dwelling is currently under construction.
